Sellier & Bellot - Soft Point - 150 Grain 30-30 Winchester Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
A favored deer hunting round for short to mid-range, the 30-30 Winchester Center Fire (.30WCF) has served for over 120 years all over the country from saddle scabbard to truck rear window to hall closet: the .30-30 rifle or carbine serves as the rural cure-all for defense, food and recreation. It was the first caliber from Winchester without a black powder predecessor. It is perfectly capable for dealing with bear, deer down to coyotes. Developed as Winchester’s first exclusively smokeless powder cartridge in 1895 the 150 grain soft point bullet by Sellier & Bellot has a muzzle velocity of approximately 2390 feet per second with about 1900 foot pounds of energy. The SP bullet is ideal for hunting or even civil and home defense: a lever action rifle is essentially a 19th century assault rifle.
In the US, the name Sellier & Bellot has only slowly become more commonly found at ranges and for sport shooting. In actuality, the Czech munitions manufacturer has a consistent history spanning almost two centuries: at that, it is older even than Mauser. Whether for training or purpose built cartridges, all centerfire S&B rounds are brass cased and fully reloadable.
