Prvi Partizan - Full Metal Jacket - 50 Grain 25 Auto Ammo - 1000 Rounds
Details
The start of the 20th century saw a movement in the firearms world towards small concealable pistols meant for personal protection. Whether this was a result of social discretion or response to a growing number of laws against carrying (openly or otherwise) can be debated. In 1905 John Browning introduced the .25 Automatic Colt Pistol cartridge as a reliable cartridge for concealable vest pistols yet with greater reliability than .22 Long Rifle rounds: primer compound does not always get uniformly into the entire rim as many RF shooters can attest to the occasional need to double strike. The 50 grain full metal jacket bullet by PRVI has a muzzle velocity of 770 feet per second with 66 foot pounds of energy. It is a training and target shooting round only, ideal for keeping the great many Curios & Relics firearms happily banging away as well as training with the modern mini backups on the market.
PRVI Partizan has been the mainstay of the Yugoslavian and Serbian military since the latter’s founding as a nation state in 1922. The name Partizan was added after World War II as the company went underground during the German occupation and helped supply the resistance. Brass primed reloadable cases only provide further value to shooters of this demure, and not always available, caliber.
