Details
The 300 AAC Blackout cartridge was made for suppressed firearms. So is Super Suppressed label ammunition by Winchester! This Illinois-made ammo will let you enjoy the clean and quiet performance which best complements suppressor use.
Winchester’s propellant is clean-burning, but this round’s bullet also has a key feature which reduces barrel and baffle fouling. Its lead core’s base is fully encompassed by its jacket, and thus shielded against blistering hot propellant gasses. That’s why the heat of ignition can’t gasify and spread around lead particles!
This round’s bullet tips the scale at 200 grains. That’s heavy – so heavy, in fact, that the round’s full-power propellant charge cannot accelerate the bullet faster than the speed of sound. A bullet which avoids becoming supersonic has a softer report, and it also follows a more reliable trajectory by avoiding destabilization downrange.
A 200 grain open tip bullet will wreck small game, but it’s not designed to expand like a hollow point pistol bullet. The opening in the jacket’s tip is there because its lead core is form-fitted to its jacket. That and the open tip’s flat base both promote impressive accuracy.
This ammo is designed for reliable use in all makes and models of 300 Blackout firearms, semi-automatics included. Its non-corrosive Boxer primers and virgin brass cases make this ammo reloadable.
