No subsonic performance here. This round’s middleweight bullet has an advertised muzzle velocity of 1,920 fps. We have not confirmed the barrel length Winchester used to record that MV, but rest assured it will break the speed of sound regardless of the length of your firearm’s barrel.

This round’s bullet is an FMJ. It’s not designed for terminal expansion, and its jacket does leave the base of its lead core exposed to hot propellant gasses. That just means you can expect a normal rate of fouling. The FMJ is nonmagnetic, though, so let ‘er loose at any range which is fortunate enough to count you as its guest!
