Sellier & Bellot’s 110 gain TSX bullet leaves the muzzle at 2549 ft per sec with approximately 1587 ft lbs behind it. S&B’s Triple Shock is a solid copper, hollow point bullet that delivers maximum terminal ballistics with minimal fouling that is ideal for boar and deer hunting. This 600 round lot will provide plenty for zeroing in before heading out into the field.

This Czech munitions maker, S&B, has been on the forefront of every ammunition development since its founding in the 1820’s. That means they have been at the front of virtually every development since the abandoning of flintlocks. Well established in Europe, US shooters have only recently been introduced to the company’s proof of quality and dependability, and the results have been nothing but positive. S&B also provides their cartridges in boxer primed, reloadable cases.

There have been several upgrade rounds developed over the last two decades attempting to increase the terminal performance of the 5.56 NATO round while keeping the majority of the AR/M4 platform that is already in US arsenals. One such development was the 6.8 Special Purpose Carbine which successfully reached the ballistic middle ground between the 5.56 and 7.62 NATO rounds. While the military opted against full replacement, several units of special forces as well as many sportsmen have adopted the round to give their AR platforms a little extra energy.
