Quiet. Accurate. American-made. Remington UMC label 300 AAC Blackout ammunition makes the perfect companion to any range day!

This cartridge owes its subsonic muzzle velocity and resultant soft report to its gargantuan 220 grain projectile. The inert bullet can’t accelerate faster than the speed of sound before clearing the muzzle, so it doesn’t make that distinctive cracking sound during ignition. It will make your suppressor’s job easy, and it will still create enough chamber pressure to cycle a semi-auto.

An open tip flat base bullet only superficially resembles the kind of expanding hollow point you’d want for hunting medium game or home defense. The non-expanding OTFB is built solely to provide great accuracy, which it does courtesy of its uniformly distributed and rotationally stable lead core, concentric jacket, and flat base which provides an even surface for propellant gasses to push against.

The OTFB’s jacketed base also prevents propellant gasses from vaporizing lead off its core. That’s going to help keep your barrel and your suppressor in cleaner condition. This is new production brass-cased Boxer-primed ammo, so it hits the spot as far as handloaders are concerned.
