UMC. It’s Remington’s standard range and target ammo, named after the Union Metallic Cartridge Company they merged with back in 1912. If you’re looking for nice light loads that you can use to rough up range targets, then you should be tickled pink by this 10-box case of 40 S&W ammo!

This cartridge is loaded with a full metal jacket. Remington has been known to refer to the FMJ as a “metal case” in the past, but they’re truly one and the same bullet. At 165 grains, the bullet is light enough to secure a supersonic muzzle velocity without generating excessive recoil as a result. Thanks to its solid lead core and hard copper-alloy jacket, the FMJ doesn’t have the ability to attract a magnet.

Remington’s Kleanbore primers have spared American enthusiasts’ firearms from rusting up for decades, and their propellant leaves satisfactorily little residue behind. And because each UMC label round features a new, high-quality brass case, this ammo has handloaders all taken care of.
