Details

Maybe you prefer carrying a pocket pistol chambered in 380 ACP for the all-important job of self-defense. (It can be cumbersome to go around all day with an S&W 500, after all.) Maybe you own a classic PPK that you don’t intend to use in a fight, but would still like to be able to if a fight ever found you. In either case, this 380 ACP ammo from Remington’s Golden Saber label will serve you well.

This cartridge’s 102 grain projectile is the type you want to have on your side during a fight: a jacketed hollow point. The bullet expands, transfers energy, and other behaves altogether unpleasantly inside of its soft target. Its brass jacket is notched at its tip, providing fault lines that help expansion to fan out uniformly.

We always like to see a nickel plated brass casing on a self-defense load. It protects the round from gradual corrosion, and helps a semi-automatic to cycle as it’s designed to. It’s even easier to see when the lights are out. This round’s quality Boxer primer makes it both reliable and reloadable -- a great value!
