Prvi Partizan - Soft Point - 150 Grain 308 Winchester Ammo - 500 Rounds
Details
For fifty years the .30-06 Springfield cartridge served as both military and sporting cartridge in the USA. Its only flaw was the length of the case caused some concerns over use in semiauto and full automatic weapons. Hunters too were looking for a similar performing cartridge that could be fired out of a short action rifle. Winchester introduced the .308 cartridge in 1952 with the virtually physically identical 7.62 NATO two years later. Since then both rounds have become globally used for both military and sporting purposes.
These 150 grain soft point bullets from PRVI exit the muzzle at 2805 ft per sec with 2618 ft lbs of energy. The SP round is designed to drive all the energy of the round into the target. This is a versatile hunting round for boar on up to white tail deer and similar sized game.
PRVI ammunition began in 1928 as a munitions manufacturer for the Yugoslavian state. They added Partizan to the name after World War II when they provided ammunition to Tito’s resistance fighters. Today, the company continues to provide cartridges to the Serbian military as well as for commercial export. Produced to exacting military standards, this lot of 500 cartridges are also made with reloadable cases.
