Prvi Partizan - Full Metal Jacket - 139 Grain 6.5x55mm Swedish Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
Among Mauser collectors and shooters, the Swedish 6.5mm is particularly favored for its well documented accuracy over longer distances. Introduced in 1891, it is a first generation smokeless powder cartridge that both Norway and Sweden adopted for their Krag and Mauser rifles respectively. The thin long bullet has particularly good stability and penetrative capabilities and has also become a popular hunting rifle caliber with several modern manufacturers making their rifles in this chamber.
The 139 grain full metal jacket bullet by PRVI has a muzzle velocity of 2543 feet per second with 1991 foot pounds of energy behind it. The soft point bullet is a specifically suited round for deer hunting yet the Partizan brand is recognized and appreciated for its economy as the world wide supply of military surplus rounds dwindles for Swede Mauser shooters. Meanwhile the increasing availability of modern rifles in this caliber demands a sporting cartridge.
PRVI Partizan is becoming well known to shooters of older mil surplus rifles and with good reason: the company is not only one of the few that regularly produces cartridges in these less common calibers but also does so at a price that is not debilitating. Further, these rounds are loaded in boxer primed, reloadable cases for further use to handloaders.
