Details

One of the nice things about .357 Magnum firearms is that they are able to chamber their own rounds as well as every round down to .38 Special, including the +P loads. Designed to bridge the gap between standard and high-pressure rounds, +P ammunition are best suited to firearms rated for them and should definitely not be fired in older .38sp firearms. In the correct gun, however, they give the little extra that is sometimes sought after.

This 158 grain, soft point bullet by Magtech nominally leaves the muzzle at 890 feet per second with 278 foot pounds of energy. This is acceptable for close range deer hunting and even personal defense where hollow point bullets may be restricted. This 1k round case is also perfect for keeping handy, whatever your needs may be.

Magtech started marketing training ammunition in the US almost thirty years ago and shows no sign of giving up yet: their line of training and target shooting ammunition is supplemented by more and more personal defense and sporting specific ammunition, especially for handguns. Their use of boxer primed cases provides further incentive to shooters with access to reloading presses.

Note: this cartridge is loaded to +P pressures and care should be taken before use in any firearm. Consult manufacturer for specifications.
