Magtech - Lead Round Nose - 98 Grain 32 Smith & Wesson Long Ammo - 50 Rounds
In 1896, Smith & Wesson introduced the .32 S&W long for their new Hand Ejector model: the beginning of the swing out cylinder design of revolvers. Seven years later the cartridge was reintroduced as a smokeless powder round, with slightly higher pressures, and then continued to be favored not only by police departments but also by civilian target and defense shooters. So much so that when competitor Colt introduced their .32 Colt New Police it was virtually made to the same size to facilitate concurrent success. While anemic by modern standards for any of those purposes other than target shooting, the caliber is still enjoyed for its exceptional accuracy and low recoil. These are features also appreciated by trainers introducing novices to the sport of revolver shooting. The 98 grain lead round nose bullet by Magtech has a muzzle velocity of 705 feet per second with 108 foot pounds of energy. It is manufactured with the purpose of target shooting.
With this Magtech ammo, you'll receive a single box of 32 S&W that contains 50 rounds.
In 1990 Magtech became a distributor of the CBC Group. Thirty years later their blue and white boxes have become a common sight in American ranges and training courses. The cases are brass with boxer primers for additional value to reloaders, a particular interest and value to shooters of this caliber.
