Magtech - Full Metal Jacket - 624 Grain 50 BMG Ammo - 10 Rounds
Details
Developed by John Moses Browning in the 1910's as an anti-aircraft and anti-vehicle round, the .50 Browning Machine Gun (BMG, also erroneously referred to as Big Machine Gun) was an dimensionally increased version of the .30-06 Springfield round. Adopted by the US military in 1921, it is the longest serving cartridge in US military history, and for good reason. Used extensively in WWII, the .50 BMG proved its worth being mounted almost anywhere for its effectiveness against everything except heavy armor. In fact, Germans riding in anything less than a tank hated the .50. Magtech's 624 grain full metal jacket round has a muzzle velocity of 2952 feet per second with 12077 (!!!) foot pounds of energy behind it. It is ideal for the growing number of (extra) long range target rifles available in this caliber. For when you absolutely have to reach way out there, … no further way out there, and devastate your target.
Well known and appreciated for its range and target pistol and rifle ammunition, Magtech's affordability, reloadability and dependability has kept shooters firing away since 1990. The company's development of more exotic and defense purpose rounds has continued maintaining that reputation while offering ever more variety to consumers eager to get premium products for comfortable economy of price.
