Magtech - Full Metal Coat - 150 Grain 308 Winchester Ammo - 50 Rounds

Winchester’s .308 is the product of several decades of development looking for a shorter cased .30-06 Springfield for more reliable use in a semi or automatic weapon for the US military. While timely designs by Garand and Browning extended the military use of the -06, military and civilian use found that the larger round was above what was needed in both typical hunting and combat uses. In 1952, the .308 was introduced, and two years later, the 7.62x51 NATO, virtually identical to the .308, was adopted for use by all militaries in the Alliance. The 150 grain full metal jacket bullet by Magtech exits the muzzle at 2820 feet per second with 2649 ft lbs. This is an ideal round for target and training purposes and is not at all unsuitable for both long range and military style rifle competitions.
