The XTP owes its accuracy to multiple features. A swaged lead core and concentric jacket which enhance gyroscopic stability. A jacketed nose which doesn’t warp when it collides with the feed ramp. A flat, jacketed base which doesn’t deform during ignition!
The XTP produces reliable expansion thanks not just to its lead core’s nose cavity, but also the jacket surrounding it. It is both tapered and serrated, which provides double assurance that the XTP will achieve wide expansion even when it reaches its target with relatively low striking energy.
