Hornady - Flex Tip Technology - 140 Grain 357 Magnum Ammo - 25 Rounds
Details
Ever since its introduction in 1934, the .357 magnum has become one of the most successful law enforcement and hunting cartridge in the United States. Designed off of a lengthened .38 special, the .357 magnum was a competitor to the .38 Super by Colt during the hey day of the 1930's bank robbers and gangster warfare when shootouts were reported to have happened from behind car doors while wearing body armor. Law enforcement was desperate for a round powerful enough to deal with scenarios where they were often outgunned. The first of the magnums, the .357 has since been embraced by sporting shooters as well as law enforcement for being a reliable round in tough circumstances. Hornady's 140 grain flex tip hollow point has a muzzle velocity of over 1400 feet per second and can hot with 640 foot pounds of energy. Its primary purpose is self defense or close range hunting for revolvers and carbines where the flex tip is safe to use in tube magazines.
Hornady began ammunition manufacturing in the 1960's and has since become one of the premium hunting and defense ammunition producers in the United States. Brass with boxer primers make Hornady cases appreciated by shooters for reloading purposes.
