Hornady - Flex Tip Technology - 115 Grain 9mm Luger Ammo - 250 Rounds
Details
The 9mm Luger was designed in 1902 as an upsized caliber version for the 7.63 Luger to increase that weapon’s stopping power. Since then, the 9 has become one of the most universally used weapon throughout the world for both professional and recreational shooting. For target shooting it remains competitive for simplicity in reloading and with new bullets in R&D it remains valid into a second century of service. It has proven remarkably versatile for providing a base case for all sorts of bullet types for different applications and has survived numerous attempts at replacement. The 115 grain Flex Tip (FTX) bullet by Hornady has a muzzle velocity of 1135 feet per second with 329 foot pounds of energy. The FTX bullet achieves the maximum in aerodynamics while transferring its energy into the target as an expanding bullet. This is ideal for personal and home defense with minimal concerns of over penetration.
Hornady began manufacturing premium sporting and defensive ammunition in the 1960’s after almost two decades of bullet jacket production. Their FTX line of personal defense ammunition is trusted by law enforcement officers for both on and off duty carry. As always, cases are boxer primed for additional value in reloading.
