Black Hills Ammunition - Jacketed Hollow Point - 85 Grain 32 H&R Magnum Ammo - 50 Rounds
Details
Introduced in 1984 by both Harrington & Richardson with Federal Ammunition, the .32 H&R Magnum round was designed as a hotter .32 S&W Long option while still being able to shoot the lower powered and less commonly seen .32 S&W rounds. Not necessarily billed to fulfill any particular role, the cartridge is popular with woodsmen wanting a heavier bullet for dealing with potential natural threats up to and including feral dogs and/or coyotes. It has also been proposed as a competitive target round as well. The caliber’s reloadability further makes it a popular choice for potential cost savings. Black Hills’ 85 grain jacketed hollow point bullet has a muzzle velocity of 1100 feet per second with 228 foot pounds of energy. It proposed as a more than acceptable choice for use in personal defense against potential predators in the wild or the home.
Well established as a premium maker of cowboy action competitive shooting cartridges, Black Hills Ammunition of South Dakota has built upon their reliability under pressure reputation to expand their own modern purpose line. While the 5.56/.223 caliber may get all the press, their revolver cartridges are no less reliable, well manufactured or reloadable, and come with the same promise of dependable performance.
