And this 5.56x45 match ammo is the absolute crème de la crème. Each sniper-grade round is loaded with an abnormally heavy 77 grain projectile, which grants accentuated resistance against precision-destroying cross winds. You’ll want a barrel with a 1:6”, 1:7” or 1:8” rate of twist to stabilize such a massive projectile, but the juice is very much worth the squeeze.

The open tip match cannot expand, and as such is solely intended for target shooting. (The OTM is admittedly excellent for sniping, although home defense scenarios typically don’t play out over distances spanning several hundred yards.)
