9mm - 124 Grain FMJ NATO - MEN - 1000 Rounds
While NATO has put out multiple tenders for a replacement cartridge for the 9mm NATO round, it has yet to wholly replace the cartridge: cost effectiveness and dependability, along with wide spread compliance for logistical purposes keep the round on the frontlines. Not to mention, the tiny, hypervelocity contenders are simply over kill in many circumstances. The result is the 9mm is not going anywhere anytime soon. Unsurprisingly there is a great many national and private arsenals that provide for the cartridge in its “standard” format for military and police service. For the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, this means a 124 grain full metal jacketed round that has a muzzle velocity of 1213 ft per sec and energy of 425 ft lbs. This 1000 round case by MEN is set up for rainy day stockpiling, training course work, or simply being the go to reserve for weekly trips to the range.
The German manufactured MEN cartridge is made to NATO specs with reloadable brass cases and non-corrosive primers. Distributed through the CBC Group, these cartridges are ready made to be military service rounds or, thanks to their impressive ballistic characteristics, training ammunition for more expensive, defensive/carry ammunition.
