Remington’s Golden Saber defensive ammunition have been a baseline for civilian and law enforcement since its introduction in 1991. In the Summer of 2018 a new non bonded bullet was introduced by applying a black, nickel plated belt (hence the name) just forward of the driving band to hold the core in place and maintain full mass retention and still have the “petals” of the bullet expand for maximum retention.
