Corbon Pow'RBall 135 Grain 10mm Auto Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
Developed in the mid 1980’s the 10mm Auto pistol was begun as a performance competition round that was quickly taken up by the Federal Bureau of Investigation at the end of the decade as a more potent service round than their 9mm Luger. While the recoil of the round proved to excessive for too many agents - leading the FBI to develop and adopt the .40 S&W, the 10mm remains popular with shooters for its performance in competitions and, more importantly and, especially, for defense.
The 135 grain “Pow’r Ball” round by Corbon has a muzzle velocity of approximately 1400 feet per second with 588 foot pounds of energy. This is a dedicated personal defense round: one of the first to adopt the use of a polymer ball in what would be the bullet’s hollow point cavity: this reduces the bullets weight, thereby increasing its velocity and penetrative capabilities.
Corbon Ammunition was developed to be the pinnacle in personal defense ammunition with guaranteed penetration and expansion capabilities. Pow’r Ball is the company’s top line defense ammunition that was introduced in 2004, loaded in boxer primed cases and designed to defeat clothing without clogging and ensuring expansion after entry.
