How do you know if you need 1,000 rounds of Winchester’s USA label 223 Rem ammo? It’s quite simple: if you have a firearm that is chambered for 223 Rem – or 5.56x45 – then you have an urgent need for this ammo!

This is essentially the same M193 ammo the U.S. Army would give you if you agreed to let them shave your head. The 55 grain projectile will achieve a 3,240 fps muzzle velocity out of a 24” barrel, which is fast enough that you can pretty much forget about the concept of bullet drop at close range. The full metal jacket isn’t a cheapo: it doesn’t have any steel, and it can’t attract a magnet. It does have a nice little cannelure that keeps it seated where it belongs in the case mouth, though.

This new production, noncorrosive Boxer-primed ammo is loaded with brand new brass cases. We’re aware that they look a little discolored, but that’s just the natural byproduct of Winchester’s heat-treatment process which fortifies brass.
