The 7.62x39 is perhaps the most popular semiautomatic rifle caliber in the world for military and civil protection purposes, in use even 40 years after being replaced from Russian but in recent years, the cartridge has become an increasingly common consideration as a hunting and target shooting caliber out of sporting rifles instead of just being considered “AK food.” The zinc coated steel cases from Silver Bear have better feeding and extraction capabilities than the simple steel cases of mil surplus origin.
