Silver Bear - Soft Point - 125 Grain 7.62X39 Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
The 7.62x39 is perhaps the most popular semiautomatic rifle caliber in the world for military and civil protection purposes, in use even 40 years after being replaced from Russian but in recent years, the cartridge has become an increasingly common consideration as a hunting and target shooting caliber out of sporting rifles instead of just being considered “AK food.” The zinc coated steel cases from Silver Bear have better feeding and extraction capabilities than the simple steel cases of mil surplus origin. The 125 grain soft point bullet from Silver Bear has a muzzle velocity of 2445 with around 1600 foot pounds of energy. It is ideal for both target shooting and hunting with the soft point bullet providing an easily appreciated balance between ballistic efficiency and expansion on contact.
The Barnaul arsenal draws its establishment originally from an arsenal founded in St. Petersburg in the 19th century. After two world wars and a civil war, the arsenal was relocated to its current location in central Russia. While the steel cases are berdan primed and not reloadable, the zinc coating does offer a type of dry lubrication for better cycling and functioning in both semi auto and bolt action rifles.
