Sellier & Bellot - Total Metal Jacket - 115 Grain 9mm Luger Ammo - 50 Rounds
Sellier & Bellot’s 115 grain total metal jacket (TMJ) encases the entire bullet in the copper jacketing to prevent exposure to airborne lead particles. It has a muzzle velocity of 1280 feet per second and, depending on barrel length can have a muzzle energy of approximately 350 foot pounds of energy. It is reportedly loaded a little bit hotter to ensure positive cycling while at the range.
The recent increase in concealed carry weapons permit holders has in turn nudged one caliber of all others to the forefront as most popular: the 9mm Luger. The 9 offers wonderful versatility in bullet types, relatively low cost of materials that keep costs down, and is one of the most manageable calibers in virtually every firearm chambered for it. For those who carry for defense, a round that is affordable and reliable is a necessity for training. And with the sudden increase in indoor ranges to meet the needs of all these new shooters, ammo that offers reduced lead exposure is at a premium.
Sellier & Bellot began powder and bullet making in Bohemia during the 1820s. That means the company has been in constant operation through every development of the modern, self-contained, metallic cartridge. Today their distribution is world-wide, in cooperation with the CBC Group, and their brass cases are boxer primed for reloadability.
