Remington - Plated Round Nose - 40 Grain 22 Long Rifle Ammo - 50 Rounds
Details
Since its introduction by Stevens Arms in 1887 the .22 Long Rifle is almost definitely what everyone learned to shoot on, but it is not one that people ever really grow out of. Thanks to the abundance, economy, low recoil and report, the .22 remains the ubiquitous round for target shooting, competitions, pest control and of course teaching novices. It is also a favored caliber for use with suppressor equipped firearms with appropriate type bullet, which is where Remington’s plated bullet comes in. The plated 40 grain bullet by Remington has a muzzle velocity of 1255 feet per second with 140 foot pounds of energy. Plated ammunition is produced for use in silencers to reduce lead fouling in the baffles. Performance remains the same reliable consistency with less reason to disassemble the silencer frequently.
The overwhelming quantity of .22 rounds on the market can make it difficult to recognize quality when it is seen. Remington ammunition has a tradition of being plentiful and consistent in its reliability. This is true for all their lines of .22 long rifle ammunition, but the Golden Bullet line is their premium line of rimfire cartridges for extensive use or use with sound suppression accessories.
