Prvi Partizan - Jacketed Hollow Point - 95 Grain 9mm Makarov Ammo - 50 Rounds
While the 7.62x25 Tokarev round itself was particularly effective in both pistol and sub machinegun service during World War II, the Russians found that their Tokarev pistol experienced numerous failings during the war and sought to replace it. Simplicity of design was the hallmark of Soviet engineering and to make a pistol easy enough for almost rudimentary mass production, it was necessary to finally abandon the 7.62 caliber. The 9mm Makarov is one millimeter shorter than a full sized 9 Luger and one millimeter longer than a 9mm short (.38 ACP). It was adopted to get just a little more energy than the latter but still be able to be fired in a blow back design pistol that was easy to manufacture. Ten years later, the Makarov became the standard sidearm caliber throughout the Warsaw Pact. PPU’s 95 grain hollow point bullet has a muzzle velocity of 1020 feet per second with u to 217 foot pounds of energy. This is provided as a competent defense round for use in any of the mil surplus or commercial firearms in this caliber.
PPU Partizan is no stranger to making military rounds as it provides for the Serbian armed forces. In a country that demands dependable munitions, PRVI has provided since its founding in the 1920’s. Here they provide commercially defense ammunition that can be trained with at a cost that will not break the bank.
