Details

PRVI Partizan offers this 303 British ammo as a great choice for range training and shooting. The 174 grain full metal jacket round exits the muzzle at up to 2500 feet per second with up to 2400 foot pounds of energy. This is an ideal choice for keeping that Limey or Commonwealth battle rifle operating and keeping history alive.

Military rifle enthusiasts have come to know and appreciate PRVI for the company’s continuing provision of modern production of military calibers. Not only are they non corrosive but they are provided with boxer primed cases that can be reloaded for further value to owners of these historic examples.

The .303 British was first introduced to British service in 1888 as a black powder round as the Empire explored the use of a small diameter, high speed bullet in their new Lee-Enfield rifles. The smokeless variant of the .303 rifle round was introduced three years later in 1891 and served in the British Empire and Commonwealth forces until the 1960’s. With the exception of the Russian 7.62x54Rimmed, it is perhaps the longest serving military rimmed cartridge in history and is still favored by military enthusiasts as well as by deer hunters with “sporterized” versions of the Enfield (and Ross) rifles.
