Tula Cartridge Works Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) 158 Grain 357 Magnum Ammo - 1000 Rounds
Details
Introduced in 1934 to give lawmen a needed advantage against the publicized outlaws of the age who were frequently able to outgun responding officers, the .357 magnum delivered increased knockdown power and range. To do this Smith & Wesson lengthened their .38 Special case and installed a larger primer to get a round delivering almost half again as much energy as the parent case. Officers who were already trained in using revolvers found upgrading to the magnum a simple task. While not a common law enforcement round today, shooters find it a wonderful option for hunting, long range target shooting and, of course, personal defense. The 158 grain full metal jacket bullet by Tula exits the muzzle at around 1280 ft per sec with approximately 540 ft lbs. This 1000 round case is ideal for keeping on hand for range training, target practice and even competition.
Russia’s Tula Cartridge Works has a long history of providing military grade ammunition for both the Russians and for commercial export. The steel cases are in fact boxer primed, and capable of being reloaded, unlike most other steel cases. Shooters appreciate the economy of this product for stockpiling and keeping in hand for any scenario.
