Wolf WPA Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) 55 Grain 223 Remington Ammo - 20 Rounds
For target shooting, hunting, competition or civil defense, the .223 Remington round seems to have no equal in the US. Not only for use with AR15 clones but also for use in varmint, bolt action rifles. Though other calibers have been offered as replacement for military, and civilian use, almost immediately since the caliber’s introduction, the .223’s versatility in being used in multiple similar chambers (.223 Wylde and 5.53 NATO for eg) and ease of use keeps it at the forefront of medium rifle (and now high powered pistol) chamberings. The 55 grain bullet by Wolf is full metal jacketed and has a muzzle velocity of 3241 ft per sec with 1280 ft lbs of energy. It is designed for range training and target practice, however, in a pinch it will be quite sufficient for civil as well as perimeter defense. Rounds are also lacquer coated to protect against the elements.
Wolf ammunition began as production from Russian arsenal but has since broadened from Tula arsenal in recent years. Ammunition is steel cased and berdan primed with an eye towards long term storage and short term efficiency, and shooters have long enjoyed the economy that this product offers for reliable one time use.
