Tula Cartridge Works Hollow-Point (HP) 75 Grain 223 Remington Ammo - 1000 Rounds
Details
The .223 Remington may always be associated with its roots as a varmint round, but over six decades of use as a primary military cartridge prove its adaptability and terminal ballistic effectiveness. When loaded with a heavier bullet and fired out of a faster twist barrel (1:7), the long-range capabilities shine through as a 600 yard precision round. The hollow point, 75 grain bullet by Tula is submitted for consideration for use out of heavy barrel rifles for better accuracy at further ranges. This bullet has a stated muzzle velocity of 2750 feet per second with 1293 foot pounds of energy. The hollow point also helps ensure that that energy is transferred into the target rather than merrily zipping through, giving better effects down range. This 1000 round case is ideal for training as well as for use in appropriately barreled rifles. Though at closer ranges (100 yards) it will serve in any of the military barrels that are common to the popular AR platforms.
Tula’s reputation for manufacturing dependable ammunition is sealed with a state facility that for two centuries has served the Russian and Soviet Empires and still provides munitions to the Russian Federation. Their recipe for standard cartridges is to design them for an indeterminate period of sitting in stockpile and then reliable ignition no matter what the outside conditions may be. The use of steel cases with Berdan primers is how they meet that goal. This 1000 cartridge count case is ideal for group activities, training or simply filling out personal stockpiles while available.
