Details

Tula's 150 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) has a muzzle velocity of around 2800 feet per second with 2600+ foot pounds of energy. This is a round designed for range training and target shooting. Yet at 500 rounds, it can be used for anything you want, including civil defense.

When you order this product, you'll get a full case of Tula .308. That's 500 rounds, with 20 rounds in 25 individual boxes.

.308 Winchester is the sporting version of the 7.62x51 NATO cartridge, yet it predates the release of the NATO round by two years and is loaded to increased pressure. Winchester released the .308 as a short action cartridge that could have similar ballistics to the .30-06 out to almost the same range. While there is a pressure load difference between the two cartridges, the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers Institute (SAAMI) has found that there is no danger of cross loading either cartridge in firearms chambered in both calibers.

The ammunition requirements of several nations, as well as Russia's, is met by the Tula Cartridge works. It meets the exacting standards of quality and reliability in functioning. While the cases are steel and with berdan primers, shooters generally find the relative low cost of the ammunition more than offsets the inability to use the cases for reloads. Check your firearm's specifications to see if steel cased loads are recommended for use in any specific weapon: case hardness can damage older firearms.
