Prvi Partizan - Full Metal Jacket - 145 Grain 308 Winchester Ammo - 1000 Rounds
Details
World War I inspired the US Army to invest in alternative calibers: specifically, the same .30 caliber bullet as the ’06 Springfield, but in a shorter case that would cycle more reliably in automatic weapons. While John Browning and John Garand kept the longer cartridge in play through another world war and Korea, Winchester developed a shorter cartridge for short actions. In 1952, the .308 Winchester was introduced based off of those efforts. The 7.62 NATO followed two years later, and while it is loaded to slightly lesser pressure, both calibers can be fired out of the other chamber. The PRVI’s 145 grain full metal jacket rounds leave the muzzle at around 2800 feet per second with 2600 foot pounds of energy. This is a great round for target practice and range training for tactical or precision shooting, so it is also a good choice for competitive matches.
Partizan gained its name and reputation as a munitions provider to resistance fighters against the German occupation of Yugoslavia in World War II. That need for reliability continues to this day as the company provides for the Serbian military as well as civilians export. PRVI Partizan’s boxer primers in reloadable cases are well suited for shooters looking to handload their cases. This 1000 round case lot is perfect for keeping on hand for training day, competitions or even the just in case scenario.
