This shell is designed to narrowly pattern its shot. Hard lead pellets resist deformation under pressure, and they are even better equipped to retain their spherical, aerodynamic profiles thanks to this round’s supple shock-absorbing granulated plastic buffering. This shell is not loaded with the FliteControl Flex wad, but Federal’s Triple Plus wad system does do a good job of promoting tighter pattern density.
