Fiocchi High Velocity 2-3/4" #7-1/2 Shot 1-1/5 oz. 12 Gauge Ammo - 25 Rounds
The popularity of shotgun sport shooting has increased in recent decades away from the exclusivity of the country gentleman or aristocratic squire. With that increased participation comes a demand to provide alternatives to a more varied taste of different shooters. Self-loading shotguns have become quite popular in this sport as well and often require a shotshell capable of delivering sufficient shot as well as enough recoil to cycle the action reliably. This is particularly important in high stakes competitions with large capacity shotguns.
Fiocchi’s hi velocity shot shells are 2.75” long loaded with 1-1/5 ounces of #7.5 lead shot: approximately 420 lead pellets of .095” diameter exiting the muzzle at 1330 feet per second. This is an ideal shell for semi-automatic shotguns used in clay shooting competitions that require rapid shots engaging numerous moving targets.
Fiocchi was founded in Italy in 1876 and literally built its reputation on the shotgun sport shooting favored by Europe’s elite and aristocracy. In recent years the company has taken up production in the United States in cooperation with Smith & Wesson where it maintains its reputation for reliable performance and quality components for those who still reload shot shells for their own use.
